AGRICULTURE INTERNSHIP AT SYNAGRI
TO DARE IS TO
ENRICH THE EXPERIENCE

Already, by accepting an internship at Synagri that was far from home, Jacob had to demonstrate some courage and adaptability. In addition, by choosing an internship in plant production rather than in animal production, Jacob had to step out of his comfort zone in order to enlarge his field of knowledge. Yet, despite all the effort that it may have required, that is what makes Jacob the proudest. Indeed, this internship has been rich in personal and professional experiences, so much that Jacob discovered a growing interest in the vegetal world.

For Jacob, the internship has been relevant because it allowed him to apply what he learned so far in his training in animal production at the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire of Saint-Hyacinthe. As a matter of fact, what he highlights is the complementarity between his studies and his experiences on field.

Because he has been immersed in the agricultural world since an early age, Jacob has developed a passion for agriculture, and more specifically, for dairy production. In parallel, while he was still in a stroller, another passion was born, that of rodeo. In all cases, it is clear that Jacob is fascinated by animals and that he acts in ways to integrate his passions both into his work and his leisure time.
A big thank you Jacob for having shared your internship experience! We are certain that your internship supervisor Francis Gagné as well as our agricultural producers have enjoyed your work and presence!
