Encourage nodule formation
Oligo-Mo is a liquid nutrient designed to prevent and treat molybdenum deficiencies. Molybdenum is a component of enzymes that convert nitrates into ammonia and then into amino acids. It is required by nitrogen-fixing bacteria in legumes. Molybdenum also intervenes in phosphorus and iron assimilation. Oligo-Mo is activated by C-PLEX. C-plex is an innovative carbon-based chelating agent. This smaller molecule increases the mobility of nutrients in the plant. lts ability to bind either with cations or anions facilitates their transport through the leafs cuticle. It must be used based on soil or tissue analyses or as soon as deficiency symptoms appear. For more information on Oligo-Mo, consult your agronomic adviser.
Rich in molybdenum
Molybdenum plays an important role in nitrogen metabolism inside the plant. Molybdenum is an indispensable component of enzymes that convert nitrates into nitrites (toxic form) and then into ammonium to be used in the synthesis of amino acids and proteins. It is part of nitrogenase, the enzyme responsible for the binding of atmospheric nitrogen by symbiotic bacteria in legumes. Molybdenum is thus directly involved in the synthesis process of proteins. It is also involved in phosphorus and iron assimilation. Furthermore, molybdenum plays a role in pollen viability and grain production. Oligo-Mo is enriched with nitrogen in ureic form, giving it tissue dilatation capability, thus encouraging the penetration of other nutrients in the leaf.
