AGRICULTURE INTERNSHIP AT SYNAGRI =
INSPIRING
ENCOUNTERS

Audrey-Ann’s internship certainly reinforced her desire to continue her studies in agronomy at the university level. Indeed, Audrey-Ann was unsure of what to do at the end of her current collegial program and it is through various discussions with clients, agronomists, partners and colleagues that her thoughts and motivations became clearer. In fact, she is proud that she questioned people around her and that she managed to develop her professional network by the same occasion.

Audrey-Ann talks about her internship experience with stars in her eyes. She is grateful that she learned more about the enterprise and the role of an agronomist and that she even discovered certain software. With a strong desire to deepen her knowledge, she is happy to have put into practice, and even to have enhanced, what she learned in school. Indeed, considering that she studies animal production at the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire of Saint-Hyacinthe, she was able to gain experience and confidence in plant production. There is nothing more concrete than to go in the filed, meet the producers and make calculations on the agronomic data collected.

Audrey-Ann does not come from an agricultural environment and she tried different domains before finding her way. It is her love for animals, especially for horses, and her urge to work with people that led her here, proof that all the profiles are welcomed and that everything can ultimately be learned.
A big thank you Audrey-Ann for having shared your internship experience! We are certain that your internship supervisor Christophe Leblanc as well as our agricultural producers have enjoyed your work and presence!
