Did you know that…
Synagri has the exclusive distribution contract for organic corn from the CAUSSADE seeds brand (owned by the multinational LIDEA). It is important to mention that LIDEA is a European seed company positioned among the leaders in the international market, born from the merger of CAUSSADE seeds and EURALIS seeds in 2020.
What CAUSSADE seeds’ offer for the 2024-2025 season?
- We provide certified organic or conventional seed without any treatment, and our corn will all be dual-purpose (grain and silage).
- Furthermore, GMO tests are excellent since the multiplication is done in France in an environment without GMO corn, greatly reducing the risks of contamination.
- We have been testing hybrids in Quebec for two years, and the initial results are promising in terms of yield, field stability, and rapid drying curve. The TROPICAL DENT characteristic of Caussade seed corn also gives them a high level of specific weight.
Did you know? (Separate section)
Typically, upon receiving their order, organic producers test the received grain and demand tests below 0.5% GMO contamination; otherwise, they often return the received bags. Regularly, conventionally grown corn in Canada or North America, in general, tests above 0.5%, and this 2023-2024 season will be no exception. As you can see, our organic and conventional CAUSSADE seed corn also stands out due to their GMO tests being below 0.1% (as low as 0.03% GMO contamination).
The 2024-2025 offer consists of certified organic or conventional hybrids in 80K format
